2018 NIDA International Forum

UIPHP research team has joined the 2018 NIDA International Forum, which was held June 8–11, 2018, in San Diego, California, USA.

The annual forum organized by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) fosters international cooperative research and the exchange of scientific information by drug abuse researchers. The Forum is held each June in conjunction with the annual scientific meeting of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD).

The research symposium, poster session, and network-building activities focus on the range and quality of drug abuse research conducted around the world. Participants meet talented colleagues and learn about drug abuse research and policy issues in other countries as well as the NIDA-supported fellowships and other programs that can support international collaborations.

During a poster session UIPHP experts - Tetiana Kiriazova, Konstantin Dumchev, Oleksandr Zeziulin, Victor Chtenguelov, Iryna Pykalo and Nataliia Saichuk - presented the results of projects and studies that were conducted in Ukraine with the participation of the Ukrainian Institute on Public Health Policy.
